MAT
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies. It is a proven and effective approach for treating Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and can help individuals achieve recovery—or, at the very least, regain a sense of stability and normalcy.
At DBHS, we do not prescribe Subutex or buprenorphine tablets without naloxone. Naloxone is a vital component in treating the physical dependence associated with opioid addiction, helping to ensure safety and reduce misuse.

For those who prefer a long-acting option, we also offer Sublocade or Vivitrol injections, depending on insurance coverage and affordability. Many clients find the once-a-month injection far more convenient than managing frequent pharmacy visits and prescription refills, which can add unnecessary stress to life.
